after being here in New Zealand for a good one month, hello!!! hello to those who still cares about my blog and my wellbeing!! i'm fine and alive until today, alhamdulillah. anyway, a month here has been alright. i've been wanting to blog since the first week, but look at me, typing after three weeks of procrastination. things settled down pretty easily for my housemates and i, alhamdulillah. we got amazing house, good wi-fi, nice rooms and everything. we got lots of help from our seniors, they gave us like literally a whole bunch of starter pack (ie rice cooker, some kitchen tools, hair dryer, duvet etc) for us to live here. that has made our life waaay easier. syukur alhamdulillah. i honestly don't know what else to talk about really, when my parents asked me how's life and what am i doing, i have no idea what to answer. it's just cold. very cold hahaha at night, the temperature goes down till -3ºC (the lowest we've experienced), which was two days ago, if i&

it's been slightly more than a month since i experienced a loss of someone close to me, my late grandfather. i've been wanting to write something about this but didn't (idk). a month and i still cry when i think of him. we're not that close but something about him made him a special person in my heart. atuk, he's a great man. he gives without expecting any return, he is known for his generosity. he gives and keeps giving to the people around him including his grandchildren. he never lets us return home without taking some snacks inside the cabinets, or some amount of money. he prayed for us every night, he remembered us in his hajat prayers. he told us he asked Allah for our success. maybe that's why we're having it quite easy in our studies. everytime we visit him, he'll ask, "nadhirah berapa lama lagi dekat Melaka?" "lagi berapa bulan nak fly?" "dah exam? exam macam mana?" etc. he cared for us so much. i miss those questio

first and foremost, it shouldn’t be called as valedictory night because we still have a month left lol anyway, last night was quite horrible. It was all g before the event started, but went downhill as the clock ticked. was with taufiq the whole time and that was great, no doubt that all i need is him to keep me companied. however, i was extremely sad having to rush at the end and was unable to take pictures with my friends, only got some with some of my homies and farhah & aireen. thank God i have few pics with my plus one but ghey are not that great, we could get more high quality pictures but there just ain’t enough time. sure you could say that we could easily go out and take pics but naah, it wasn’t that easy with all the back to back awards and performances. know know it had reached the end of dinner, it was such a short dinner and of course my parents and my lil sis want to leave asap :( i was happy that my friends received so many awards for excelling in academics, sports a

how badly you want people to understand you when you can’t even understand yourself. what kind of nonsense is this?

last night we had this secret santa party for the second time (first was in 2017) and the second one was supposed to be in December 2018 but I guess we're a month late. Anyway, bought my baby santa some cute presents. it's amazing to see how happy she was when she opened her gifts!! This is why I love giving, it never makes me regret all the effort/money i spent to see the smiles on their faces.  We were told to give our wishlist to the committee so they'll pass it to our secret santa so, I asked for pyjama pants/earphones/a new cable (nasib dia tak bagi yang ni, cuz i just bought a new one last holiday). so I got a pyjama pants!! the striped-pants is actually cute!! but i was a bit surprised as it was a flared 3/4 pants hahaha never had one before. tried it last night and it was cool like literally cool hahaha i like it! thank you my santa. also, she (99% confident, she's a she) gave me a card with some note on it and "Born to Beat" wow adds up to the mark
